About This Project: This isn’t so much a project as a collection of black and white images I have taken over the years. In all of my photographs I try to capture the imprint of human presence. Whether it is a landscape or a human made environment, or a combination of both, what interests me are the ways in which the evidence of human activity affects that environment. People may be present or their presence implied. By maintaining a distance from the human subject, I hope to imbue the viewer with a sense of interaction both elusive and intimate.
